Please join us for a special July meeting. In addition to regular business, we will welcome Victor Salama, Executive Director of First Friends of NJ & NY. First Friends (FF) is a non-profit organization that provides support and dignity to detained immigrants, both while they are being detained and after they have been released and are transitioning to their new lives in the US. FF also works with the ICE detention centers to improve conditions for our friends who are in these facilities. Victor will be accompanied by someone who has been supported by First Friends after release from detention. (www.firstfriendsnjny.org)
